Arts Award is an accredited programme for schools and youth groups run by the MAC, offering nationally recognised qualifications.
Arts Award is for young people aged up to 25 years to develop creativity, leadership and communication skills through arts, culture, and media.
Arts Award is for young people of all interests and abilities up to the age of 25.
Each Arts Award at the MAC is tailored to the needs of the young people taking part and can be adapted for a range of special education needs.
Arts Award is a powerful tool that assesses a young person's development and encourages independent learning, confidence building, and transferrable skills.
To achieve an Arts Award, young people complete challenges and take part in a range of arts activities, documenting their progress.
There are four levels starting at Entry Level 3 and progressing to Level 3, a Gold award which is worth 35 UCAS points.
