MAC Youth Theatre

Led by MAC professional artists, the new MAC Youth Theatre is run by our Learning & Participation team. It creates brave and relevant new and reinterpreted work, live on the MAC stage.

Open Arts Exhibition

The MAC and Open Arts collaborated in 2017 to create an exhibition to mark the 25th anniversary of Open Arts and to celebrate the work of artists with disabilities.

“Untitled” (For Belfast)

“Untitled” (For Belfast) is a unique and exciting community project in which the MAC brought the artwork of world-famous artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres out of the galleries and into the streets of Belfast.

Lilliput Now

Lilliput Now was one of the MAC’s cross-community projects, inspired by the themes of Big Telly’s & the MAC’s production of Gulliver.

Arts Award

Arts Award is an accredited programme for schools and youth groups run by the MAC, offering nationally recognised qualifications.

Before I die

Before I Die was project run by the MAC to engage young people in Belfast in the global 'Before I Die' Project.

Lighthouse Project

The Lighthouse Project was a 2013 MAC cross-community project in partnership with suicide prevention charity Lighthouse that saw twelve men use photography as an outlet to deal with issues surrounding suicide.
