Reviews

Reviews

Irish Times

"Belfast is central to the show – from the rhythms of their speech to their language, to that dark, Belfast humour – but many of the issues could be applied to any city’….‘it’s playful, sharp, and dry-witted. Painstaking and thoughtful, it’ll make you laugh and punch you in the gut all at once."

Audience review on Twitter

"...a belter of a show. Gritty and sad and funny. and Go see it!"

Meg.ie

"...It’s Getting Harder and Harder for Me is definitely worth a watch. Beautifully written, packed full of imagery, hard hitting truths and characters we can all, unfortunately, relate too. Tells the stories of three ladies “living” life in Belfast city and ends with an emotive bang."

No More Workhorse

"There is clear beautiful imagery in the play’s language such as the cranes dancing in the grey sky of Belfast. All three performances are noteworthy...Alice Malseed depicts Belfast through these women’s words but the themes that shape their lives could be applied universally."

How Our Prices Work

How Our Prices Work

Better seats. Better prices. Better get your skates on.

We set our ticket prices in a similar way to airlines - the earlier you book, the cheaper the seat. Our Upstairs Theatre tickets start low at £12.50 and rise over time to a maximum of £18 the nearer it gets to a performance.

Our ticket price promise: the earlier you book, the more you save

Unlike most price promises, we guarantee that ours will never be cheaper than they are today.  The closer it gets to the performance date, the higher they become.  Plus we don’t charge booking or postage fees – what you see is what you pay.

Seats in the Upstairs theatre are unallocated so simply choose your seat on the night.
