Get Involved / Young People /
The Den is our dedicated space for young people – created by and for young people.
The Den is a place for young creatives aged 14-18 to discover, share and get involved in the arts.
Meeting weekly, the group plans events and projects for other young people in the MAC through creative activity. The Den is a great opportunity to meet other young people, learn more about working in the creative industries and gain valuable experience for future careers.
Between now and October 2013, the Den Collective will be planning Belfast’s only arts festival produced by and for young people. The MADE Festival (Music/Art /Dance /Everything) will see the MAC hand over the reins to young people for 4 days of performances, shows, theatre, film, workshops and exhibitions.
If you’d like to find out more about the Den, or how to get involved, please contact Jess Worley, Learning & Participation Officer at the MAC, on jess@themaclive.com or call 028 9089 2960.
