Making Visuals Sound

Making Visuals Sound

Making Visuals Sound is a project exploring graphic scores for music performance through a gallery-inspired installation – with artists Emily Robertson and Franziska Schroeder.

The project is part of SARC’s programme of residencies and results in the creation of a Belfast-centred graphic score. These graphic scores will be brought to life through live performance sessions throughout the week- as musicians Andrew Harrison (electric guitar) and Michael Speers (percussion) collaborate with the resident artists to create a concert.

There is also a youth-focused community workshop for ages 8-12 years old. These young audience members are invited to design their own graphic score and have it played by SARC musicians.

Performances and workshops are free to attend and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
