The Love Of Salmon
Green Sky Performing Arts presents Love of Salmon.
This poignant interactive multi-media show combines the unique cultural traditions of both Ireland and South Korea. Based upon the uplifting South Korean novel Stickleback, Love of Salmon tells the story of one families fight against cancer. A beautiful life story of sacrificial love beyond death and hope, and includes performances by Geoung Soo Kim Ballet Company. This is the first time a South Korean Ballet troupe has performed in Belfast.
This cinematic theatre show presents dance, drama and film with the fusion of contemporary visuals and traditional themes. It includes German director Pina Bausch-influenced dance theatre, Irish dance and South Korean tea and wedding ceremonies.
Some of the proceeds will be donated to Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.
