To celebrate Ron Mueck’s first Irish exhibition join us for a gallery tour specifically developed for families.
Ron’s sculptures are really detailed and life-like, some are tiny and some are really huge! Each one makes us think about the person we see in the sculpture, and what they are thinking and feeling, and how that makes you feel.
Created and delivered by Young at Art artists, the gallery tours of both the Upper and Tall Galleries will give families a unique insight into Ron’s extraordinary world.
Tours best suited for families with children aged 4-7yrs: 11am, 12noon, 2pm, 3pm
Tours best suited for families aged 8-12yrs: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm
If you have children of various ages, just choose the tour time that suits you best.
The tour begins in the Upper Gallery and concludes in the Tall Gallery which includes Ron's celebrated sculpture 'Dead Dad'. You can decide if you are happy to continue the tour in the Tall Gallery.
