Reclaim the Agenda brings their annual IWD Rally from Writers Square to you at home. This interactive online rally asks you to grab your placard, and join your fellow feminists from your living room for speakers and entertainment.
Reclaim the Agenda’s theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is ‘The New Phenomenal’. They aim to celebrate the phenomenal women contributing to keeping our communities going during this difficult time.
While Covid-19 restrictions mean they can’t have their usual march and rally, Reclaim the Agenda will be hosting a programme of events from 24 February to 21 March, all online. They'll have lunchtime lectures and panel discussions on topics such as the 1921 centenary, developments in the struggle to end violence against women, Black Lives Matter, activist workshops and more.
"We want to celebrate all the phenomenal women who have rallied during the pandemic, from healthcare and other essential workers, to those home-schooling, caring and volunteering, and all the activists driving change."
