It's Mental Health Awareness week, and we are inviting children to make masks as a way to explore feelings and opening up to others.
In this workshop we will create our own masks with a range of different materials, exploring texture and colour, feelings, and expressions. We will reflect on the masks people wear every day including happy masks and courageous masks even when they don’t feel brave or are actually feeling very anxious.
Join our wonderful artist educator Wilhelmina from Anann's Arch.
Recommended for 6-11yrs.
This workshop is inspired by the work we do with Action Mental Health, one of our Associate Partners who has co-designed our community-led exhibition At The Table.
At The Table aims to challenge who is and isn’t invited to “the table” where decisions that determine our lives are made.
