Come and help us celebrate National Poetry Day with an Arabic 'Flash' poetry called ‘WamDa’.
These are deceptively simple one line non rhyming prose - poems that anyone can do! Sometimes the poems are even written so the words form a picture or pattern.
As part of this workshop, we will take a tour of our galleries for inspiration. What shapes could you create with your words? Maybe you’ll create a poem about a flower in the shape of petals, or a line about a water shaped in like big glass with a straw, or be inspired by the art in our galleries!
