The MAC, alongside PPR, activists and artists are working together to offer a series of creative workshops on the theme of New Script for Mental Health.
This is an opportunity to participate in different forms of artistic expression; a powerful way to connect and nurture good mental and emotional wellbeing. These informal, relaxed sessions will allow space to talk about and share hopes and ideas for a #NewScript.
We often carry ourselves around in a very practical way and don't have the opportunity to let loose and enjoy the sensation of moving poetically just for the sake of it. What does it feel like to come out of your head and back to your body? This workshop will an invitation to feel embodied, to move without judgment and enjoy having a groove with others. Please wear comfortable clothing and come as you are.
Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR) is one of our five Associate Partners who we work with through our MACtivate initiative, the branch of the MAC that focuses entirely on addressing inequalities through art. We're building new and deeper connections with five Associate Partners and the communities they represent.
PPR campaigns for human rights for the people who live in Northern Ireland, from social housing to mental health and beyond.
