8 April Feminist Poster-making
Put simply, feminism is about all genders having equal rights and opportunities. What does feminism mean to you and what are the issues facing us in a patriarchal society today? Drop in to discuss how feminism can create a better world for everyone and create a poster fit for any rally or feminist cause that means something to you.
20 May Migration Poster-making
Migration is a normal human activity for some people whereas other people are forced to flee their homes because of violence, conflict, and natural disaster.
Seeking safety is a human right. There are 32 million people around the world living as refugees. We invite you to drop in to our workshop to share your views and create a poster of solidarity.
3 June Housing Crisis Poster-making
We are currently experiencing a housing crisis with thousands of people without a home, many living in housing stress and others living with soaring rental fees. Come along to our drop-in workshops to discuss the housing issues people are facing in our society and create a poster to voice your concerns and stand up for our basic human right to shelter.
These poster-making workshops are part of our community-led exhibition At The Table where everyone is invited to take a seat At The Table to discuss and get creative around some of the most pressing issues our society faces today.
At The Table aims to challenge who is and isn’t invited to “the table” where decisions that determine our lives are made.
