Get ready for a playful poetry adventure! Come and have fun creating playful performance poems with lots of interactive activities that help children play with words in fun creative ways!
Join us for a fun-filled workshop where children can explore words in exciting, creative ways. Through lots of interactive activities, we’ll dive into rhythm, rhyme, sound, and imagery—turning poems into performances and words into pictures. You don’t even have to write anything down (unless you want to)!
The workshop will be led by Jason Parkes, an award-winning writer, theatre director, and facilitator with over 20 years of experience bringing stories, plays, and poems to life with children.
Jason’s research for this workshop has been kindly supported by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
