Meet the Artist

Anna Leckey is the Founding Artistic Director and Producer of Three’s Theatre Company - a young, dynamic company creating ‘choice theatre’ putting the audience at the heart of everything they do. Anna was previously our Artist In Residence in January 2018 for 3 months when we supported her sell-out production Date Show, a promenade production with multiple journeys throughout the experience. Since then, her team has worked to create Date Show After Dark (Bullitt, Oct 2018), 3 Stories (The MAC, Nov 2018), Now For the North (The Lyric and the MAC, May & September 2019, March 2020), 1010OI (The MAC, Oct 2019) which was reworked as These Streets in 2021, I Believe Her (2021), Through The Window (The MAC, 2021), and A Simple Journey (Eastside Arts Festival, 2021).

Anna is also the founder of Tiny House Community NI and Co-Founder of Still I Rise Diversity Storytelling who have been working alongside organisations like the MAC with the mission to read books together and recommend favourite titles from all over the world. Celebrating diversity, tolerance, acceptance and encouraging open hearts and minds to create a more loving world.
