Throughout the year we offer lots of creative learning opportunities for students of all ages.
Your class can experience a live theatre show, enjoy world-class art exhibitions, take a tour backstage or enjoy a customised creative workshop led by a professional artist.
Working closely with the current curriculum, we’ve created a number of opportunities to support primary school learning at the MAC.
You can organise a bespoke guided tour of the MAC galleries for just £3 per pupil.
Enhance your pupils learning with a trip to the theatre.
We work with the best in local and national theatre companies to provide your pupils with the opportunity to experience world-class theatre.
Our exclusive school ticket offer provides great value, starting from just £8 per ticket and for every 10 tickets booked, you’ll get an 11th ticket free. The Christmas show starts at £8.50 per pupil before 30 June and £9 per pupil thereafter.
For any questions about a school visit to the MAC, contact Box Office on [email protected].
The coach drop-off point for school visits is at Exchange street West (beside St. Anne’s Cathedral) and right beside the MAC entrance. This is where you will be dropped off when taking part in Passport to the MAC, our transport scheme for schools.
The MAC is a fully accessible venue with lifts to all floors, hearing loop facilities, audio described and captioned shows, relaxed performances and accessible seating. As well as this, our outreach project 'MACTile Tours' was created to work with families and children with special needs and particularly Autism Spectrum Disorders.
