Whether you’re interested in getting behind the scenes with a theatre production or exploring world class art exhibitions, we’ve got something you’ll love. Below, we’ve gathered all the practical information you’ll need to plan your visit to the MAC.

Visit the Galleries

Guided school tours last approximately 45 minutes and are delivered by a member of our team, who will show you and your class around our exhibitions and point out interesting things along the way.

You can also request to meet our curators on your visit if you’d like to hear further information on any of our exhibitions. A guided tour of our current exhibition is priced at just £3 per pupil. Enjoy some exclusive insights into the current work on display, all delivered in a bespoke tour by a MAC front of house officer.

Booking in advance for tours is essential - please email Julie Stewart for more information or download our booking form here.

See a Show

Enhance your pupils' learning with a trip to the theatre.

We work with the best in local and national theatre companies to provide your pupils with the opportunity to experience world-class theatre. Talk to us about exciting opportunities to meet the actors or go behind the scenes of the shows.

Our exclusive school ticket offer provides great value, starting from just £8 per ticket and for every 10 tickets booked, you’ll get an 11th ticket free.
