Details
We are young people from North and South of Ireland, from different backgrounds and upbringings, coming together with ambition, diversity and dedication to put our talent and stories on stage.
This show is our true point of view — the struggles teenagers face every day: addictions, mental health, school, family, trauma — and the resilience we carry with us.
Still We Weave is a powerful showcase of raw honesty and creative expression. Through theatre, storytelling, music, humour and lived experience, we highlight both the pain and resilience of a generation that refuses to be silenced.
Come and witness a show that doesn’t shy away from the hard truths, but weaves them together into something beautiful — a reminder that no matter how broken the threads, the story is not finished.
Still We Weave: When Growing Up Pulls You Apart
Who are we?
We are a young group from North and South with the ambition, diversity and dedication to put our talent and stories into a show. We are expressive young people from different backgrounds and upbringings, coming together to create a piece of art. We are young people who have faced many struggles — but we are also people with stories to tell, and we want to tell them.
What is this play?
Still We Weave is our outlet — a way for us to open up, share our experiences, and showcase them through theatre. It’s a powerful piece created and performed by young people, using our own words and creativity. Through stories, honesty and expression, we highlight the struggles of our generation — but also our resilience and our refusal to be silenced.
Why are we doing this?
We want people to know you can move on, that trauma doesn’t define you. We want to raise awareness of what young people today are really living through — addictions, mental health, family pressures, school, systems that fail us — and show how we cope, survive, and keep weaving.
This is theatre that confronts the hard issues while celebrating resilience, unity and the power of young voices.
