OWN Art at the MAC
The MAC is delighted to welcome the OWN Art scheme is an interest free finance scheme which helps art buyers spread the cost of their purchase.
This scheme is supported by Arts Council England, Creative Scotland and Arts Council of Northern Ireland who subsidise lower value transactions to help people afford their first piece of art, support artists’ careers and contribute to the wider UK economy.
Own Art loans allow you to borrow from as little as £100 up to a maximum of £2,500 for the purchase of works of art by living artists. Which means you can take home any of the spectacular pieces of art we have for sale in our building, either for yourself or as a present for someone else.
To find out more ask a member of our Front of House team.
*Although there isn’t a limit on the amount of times you can use Own Art, we suggest that you do not apply for more than one loan at the same time. Every loan application will be subject to a credit check, and your application may be declined if you have not yet already established a repayment record for an existing Own Art loan, or if the total amount of credit you have asked for is considered by the finance company to be too high in relation to your income.
