We're going on an adventure
Come with us on a trip around the MAC galleries to see lots of super cool prints and sculptures created by a Scottish artist called Claire Barclay.
Claire loves making prints using ordinary objects that she finds around her home, like combs, pots and bowls.
During our workshop, you'll get to make your very own prints like Claire's. You'll use lots of juicy vibrant colours which overlap to create new colours and shapes. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised at the amazing art you can make with these seemingly ordinary, everyday objects. You might want to bring your own household object or use the objects provided in the workshop.
This workshop will be fun and messy so come prepared by wearing old clothes or something you don't mind getting dirty!
For ages 6-9.
The boring part for grown-ups: Drop kids off at the workshop and return at the end of the session. Why not enjoy coffee/food in our Cafe and visit our galleries & Common Room while you're here?
