Are you a young person interested in gaming? Are you passionate about the environment? Join our cross-border Deep Dive Game Jam!
Our Deep Dive Game Jam will work with twenty young people – 10 from Wexford and 10 from Belfast - to develop a new video game from scratch. The mission is to save our environmental future.
Led by experienced game developers and artists, you will explore programming, visual game design and game narratives. Over two days, you'll be based at computers in the MAC, collaborating and linking with your cross-border teammates at the Wexford Arts Centre through video conferencing technology.
The game developed by the group will form part of the evening event for Cruinniú na nÓg Wexford on 15 June.
Participants must be available to attend on both 8 and 9 June, 10am to 5pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on both days. The workshop is free, but booking is essential. Places are limited.
