The goals and achievement are to educate participants about filmmaking as a career pathway and how one might achieve this, to offer insight on resources and funding linked to this. It will also inspire participants to give filmmaking a try!
I am Kalrissa Webster, a Scottish deaf person and have spent most of my career as a Youth Worker and Visual Artist, before changing career to the screen industry at 31 years old.
ACCESS: This event is delivered on Zoom. Belfast based participants should attend in person to The MAC.

Solar Bear is a theatre company that does things differently. Inclusion and collaboration are at the heart of our mission. We work with deaf and hearing actors, theatre makers, artists and young people. We reach out to those often excluded from the arts. Working more inclusively and collaboratively makes us think in radically different ways. It shapes who we work with. It inspires us to play with new ways of storytelling. It influences the stories we tell, and where and how we tell them.
