Calling all young people who love art, crafts and storytelling to join our Patchwork of Stories workshop.
We will start the workshop by visiting the current exhibition Thrum by Claire Barclay, which opens on 14 April and runs until 3 July. Then it's time to unleash your imagination - taking inspiration from the exhibition, we will draw, paint and collage onto fabric to create your personal patchwork square.
Get inventive and make patches that represent you, your passions or a story you want to tell. Or just make some lovely art.
All the patches created during the series of workshops will be stitched together to create a patchwork quilt which we will showcase in our family room on 2 July.
For ages 8-11.
The boring part for grown-ups: Drop kids off at the workshop and return at the end of the session. Why not enjoy coffee/food in our Cafe and visit our galleries & Common Room while you're here?
