Uncover the fascinating history of witchcraft and feminism in Irish culture. Discover how witchcraft can fuel modern activism. With a Q&A.
Witchcraft and feminism have long empowered women and marginalised communities to challenge oppression and reclaim their power. In this talk, Lora O’Brien explores their significance in modern Irish society. Drawing on ancient Irish traditions, she highlights how witchcraft has historically helped women push against social norms, offering a path to empowerment and self-expression.
This talk is a call to reclaim personal and collective power through witchcraft, linking feminist values to Irish culture. Lora shares stories from Irish mythology and practical insights into modern witchcraft to demonstrate how these ancient practices can help tackle injustice and build resilience. She offers a fresh perspective on how the magic of the past can inspire activism today.
