THEATREclub call out for male volunteers to play ‘The Game’

'The Game' is a new and challenging piece of theatre that explores the act of buying sex and the subculture of prostitution; its rules, language and power structures. Produced by Irish company THEATREclub, there is a currently a live call out for male volunteers to take part in the show when it arrives at the MAC on Saturday 1 April. For information on how to apply, read on.

The Game is a 90-minute performance about the act of buying sex. It is a mixture of lived personal experience and opposing politics. The stories performed in The Game were gathered by THEATREclub from women who have exited prostitution and women who are currently involved in sex work. Male volunteers will help in the performance of the lived experiences and testimonies.
